Life has been very busy...sometimes I think I really don't like for life to be so busy but, I more or less make it that way, so that we are not just sitting at home watching the boob-tube.
A few nights ago Hensley walks into the kitchen with Steven's clothes on, yes, Baby Steven; her 9 month old brother's clothes. Aside from being a little too short they actually fit her rather well...maybe Steven is destine for pro football...lol!
Hensley decided that she needed a room change yet again. In her few years on this earth she has had already 3 different "rooms". It is starting to get a little bit of jumbled since a few things from the past rooms always stay in the new. Any way, she has decided that she needs and has to have an Ariel room. This room change is going to be on her this time. So, she and Daddy poured out the contents of her piggy bank to see how much damage she could do. After a lesson on the different coinage from daddy. All those, "diamonds, quotas and Uncle Chris or Robbie's" (dime, quarter, nickels)...that little turkey had $100.00 + bucks in that bank, heck that is more than I have in my checking account most of the time, ha! We are now on a search for the "PEERRRRFECT" Ariel/Little Mermaid decor for her room.
I have to add one of my all time favorite pictures of my sweet Hensley. She has always LOVED her piggy banks and counting the contents. This was her first bank that actually got broken and she was devastated so I am glad we have a picture of it...and her counting her pennies!
Since the Babyman goes to play-pals on Tuesday and Thursdays, he does not get picked up until 1. On those days Mommy and Daddy get to have some special Hensley time and take her to lunch.
Last Thursday after our lunch at McDonald's we took Hensley to get her library card since she is now old enough for her own. Daddy actually got one too and I just got mine renewed...lol. Hensley got to go pick out some books to take home, she was actually very excited even though the picture does not reflect that. I think she was less than thrilled at Mama documenting everything she does.
Saturday Hensley, Babyman and I got to have some fun at Pizza Kastle with Ms. Tracy, Mrs. Kelli and Charlie.
Charlie left with fangs...
...and Hensley left with an ice cream cone
Babyman got to ride the carousel for the first time Saturday. He was not at thrilled about it as Hensley and Daddy were...lol.
Sunday, Babyman chilled out in his Sunday school class in a big boy chair.
Monday's are gymnastics days, Hensley loves her gymnastics and would do it everyday if we would let her. The Babyman is normally chilled out in his stroller munching on his cookies taking it all in.
Last but not least, Babyman has learned the meaning of "NO" and HE DOES NOT LIKE IT! He will give you these huge alligator tears for the next 10 minutes every time you look at him, giving you this look that rips your heart out that says "did you really just tell MEEEE NO?!". Poor thing, there might be some hard times in his future, lol!
