Mani, Pedi and a Bath

Today Hensley and I got a manicure and pedicure so Hensley would be all beautified for her first day of school tomorrow. Her color choices were hot pink polish for her and electric blue glitter for me!

Along with Babyman's normal clowning around at dinner he ate peas all by himself, quite humorous in it's self. The bath tub was calling his name after that...what is it about kids and the inborn joy of playing in the tub for HOURS if we would let them. Babyman has already found this joy and wishes to stay in the water for as long as possible and can throw a mighty fit if bath time ends before HE wants it to...ha!

Big Man

Yesterday while I was getting dressed I had put Babyman in his crib to play and I walked back in to check on him and found this...but he was actually hanging OVER THE SIDE dangling monkey to his death ha! Anyways, Babyman slept in his pack-n-play last night and his crib mattress will be getting moved all the way down to the bottom today!

Last Day And A New Beginning

Today is sweet sorrow, it is the last day of daycare for our little turkeys. Hensley will still be attending 4K there starting Monday so we will be getting to see everyone some that way. Babyman will be at home with me, we will have to get out and about in the mornings to meet some friends his age. I do have to say that I am excited that God has blessed us in allowing me to experience staying home with my kids but also sad to be pulling them out because I know all the wonderful friends that Hensley has made in her 4 years going there (Ridegcrest) and Babyman will not get to experience that. We will definitely love all the sweet and caring teachers there forever!

ALL SMILES!

These are the two sweetest ladies you will ever meet! Hensley and Steven absolutely adore their Mrs. Lisa
(yes both of their names is Lisa...lol)

Thanks Mrs. Lisa for watching out for Hensley while she did all the crazy things she does...like getting a hamster stuck in her hair

Thanks Mrs. Lisa for waiting almost every day for me to get there because Babyman loves you so much he would cry if you tried to leave :)

WE WILL MISS OUR MRS. LISA'S!!!!!!

Life

I have been rather busy the past few days so I will give you a huge smattering of life at the Hinderliter house...

After being married for 5 1/2 years I finally bought Steven and I some new towels. Because this was both of our second marriage we both had more than enough house hold items to fill our house, my younger brother's house and a few friends so things like towels did not get newly bought. You can tell you are getting old when you get excited about something as simple as new towels...ha! I heard/read something about just buying all white towels with different designs and then just being able to bleach them is the best way to go. So I decided to try this out, we will see how long my wonderfully fluffy new white towels stay WHITE. :) In getting rid of some of our old ones I pulled out ones that I had had been given when I went off to college and were rather tattered but still being used. I guess I have to say those were some darn good towels to have lasted that long...lol!

THURSDAY
This past Thursday we spent part of the day with Lori and Ella Brooke Barefield. Our day started out with breakfast at chick-fil-a and then spending a couple hours at the pool. Hensley and Ella Brooke are like two little fish that could swim all day!

The both of them were already exstremely excited and hyper that they were spending the morning together...may have been a little too much excitement that early in the am for the mommies...lol! (and the other customers in the restaurant :0)

Finally the two fish made it to the pool...

That night during dinner as always I can never resist taking pictures of our turkey's being silly and that particular night our youngest decided he was going to start sucking his thumb! What is up with that?! He has always been a passi boy and his teacher said he had been doing it all day...guess that is big sister's influence already ha!

"Yeah your a funny boy...lol!"

SATURDAY
Daddy was off this past weekend, YAY for us! We started with a great breakfast of blueberry pancakes that he made for us and some silliness at the table as always...

After breakfast we headed to the Aviation Museum in Ft. Rucker...

P-Pop's job...keeping the aircrafts safe...

"Give me that, I got this under control".... ha!
